When your body is preparing for pregnancy, supporting a growing baby, or managing a condition like PCOS or endometriosis, what you eat and how you nourish yourself is one of the most powerful levers you have.

Meet Our In-house Women’s Health Dietitian

Rachel Hazlett

Accreditation

Hello, I’m Rachel.

Rachel is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Certified Fertility and Pregnancy Dietitian, and a firm believer that the right nutrition advice can genuinely change the trajectory of your fertility journey.

She works with women navigating PCOS, endometriosis, fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and women wanting to generally improve their nutrition. Rachel brings clinical training and her own lived experience with the highs and lows of pregnancy.

Rachel’s goal is simple: to share her knowledge with you, support you through whatever season you are in, and help you feel your best inside and out.

Can diet really make a difference to fertility?

It really can. Specific nutrients directly support egg quality, hormone production, and embryo development, and for women with PCOS or endometriosis, the right dietary changes can genuinely reduce symptoms and improve how you feel day to day. Rachel will show you exactly what that looks like for you.

What to expect in your first dietitian appointment

Your first appointment with Rachel is a Nutrition Assessment, running for approximately one hour. Rachel will get to know your medical history, your lifestyle, the goals you are working towards, and the challenges that have gotten in the way. From there, she puts together a clear, realistic plan that fits your needs.

Most women find a weekly rhythm works well to start with, then fortnightly or monthly as things settle. Rachel will work with you on whatever pace makes sense for your goals.

A women’s health dietitian works across the full spectrum of women’s nutrition, including fertility, pregnancy, hormonal health, PCOS, endometriosis, and postpartum recovery. A fertility dietitian focuses specifically on the preconception period and supporting conception. Rachel’s expertise spans both, so she can support you wherever you are on the journey.

Because we’re a multidisciplinary clinic, nutrition support can be coordinated with physiotherapy or exercise physiology when helpful.

With your written consent, Rachel can communicate with your treating physio to better understand pain, physical limitations, or health-related factors affecting your mental wellbeing, allowing for truly integrated care.
